Texas Legislature passed HB2059 in 2020, requiring continuing education in human trafficking prevention for all health care practitioners providing direct patient care. Courses taken to meet this requirement must be approved by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This CE must be completed before a license or registration renewal.
