For the Public
DCDS is committed to improving public oral health by:
- Helping patients find a dentist in Dallas County
- Providing educational resources on oral health and prevention
- Supporting programs that expand access to care for children, seniors, and underserved populations
Through partnerships and education, DCDS works to build healthier smiles across our community.
Dallas County Dental Society is the local component of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA). The tripartite organization works together to power the profession of dentistry and advance the overall oral health of the public. Our member dentists advocate on behalf of the public by promoting preventive public health measures like sealants, community water fluoridation and school-based dental screenings.
When you choose a member dentist, you’re choosing a dentist who has access to a wealth of up-to-date information and resources, and who has agreed to follow the ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.
