For more than a century, DCDS has served as a trusted voice for dentistry—strengthening the profession while promoting better oral health for all. Our mission is to serve the professional needs of our members. As part of this mission, DCDS proudly sponsors the annual Southwest Dental Conference and DCDS Foundation.

This lecture will offer a practical and concise overview of essential periodontal surgical treatments, ranging from foundational approaches to advanced regenerative techniques. The topics reviewed will include classic therapies such as osseous resective surgery, soft tissue grafting for root coverage, and esthetic crown lengthening. The presentation will then transition into ridge augmentation and innovative bone grafting practices, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques using novel materials and devices. This course is designed to enhance clinical decision-making, optimize outcomes, and provide attendees with an updated perspective on both established and emerging periodontal surgical modalities.

Member dentists, their staff and TAMUCOD students are free. Non-member dentists and their staff are $95. Pre-registration is required, whether your attendance is virtual or in person.
