Human Trafficking Course

Texas Legislature passed HB2059 in 2020, requiring continuing education in human trafficking prevention for all health care practitioners providing direct patient care. Courses taken to meet this requirement must be approved by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This CE must be completed before a license or registration renewal. Please share this information with your staff members

Note that this is a Texas state-required CE course that must be taken prior to license renewal (every two years.) This online course is posted for your ease in accessing; however, it is not managed by DCDS. A full list of CE requirements for dentists can be found on the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners website.

Dallas County Dental Society designates one (1) credit per hour for CE activities, unless otherwise noted.
