 E OF VOLUNTEERS!The event will consist of dental screenings and fluoride v
 arnish applications as well as oral hygiene instructions and education. Th
 e Give Kids A Smile initiative\, established by the American Dental Associ
 ation in 2003\, aims to unite dentists and communities in delivering essen
 tial dental services\, including oral health education\, screenings\, prev
 entive care\, and treatment\, to financially challenged families with chil
 dren in the United States. With nearly one in four children under the age 
 of five already experiencing cavities and 10 million children under 18 lac
 king access to dental care\, Give Kids A Smile plays a crucial role in the
  ADA’s Action for Dental Health. The overarching mission is to eradicate d
 ental health issues in America by extending care to all\, especially those
  facing the greatest need.This is the seventh continuous year for DCDS Fou
 ndation to participate in the event\, sponsored nationally by Henry Schein
  and Colgate. Please note that most of the schools will be in South Dallas
 \, where need is greatest). Specific locations/times will be determined in
  January.
