Alliance of the Dallas County Dental Society
About Us
The Alliance of the Dallas County Dental Society is a non-profit group consisting of spouses/family members of dentists who are dedicated to enhancing the practice of dentistry by service projects and promoting dental health awareness and information throughout the Dallas area for over 85 years. We have presented dental health puppet shows in Dallas area schools for 25 years. If you would like more information about ADCDS, please contact adcds2010@sbcglobal.net.
Dental Health Puppet Shows
Presenters: Volunteers from the Alliance of the Dallas County Dental Society
Purpose: To encourage and instruct students in K-3rd grade good dental health practices in an entertaining and informative way through interaction with students. All students are provided with a toothbrush.
Setting: Usually performed for groups of up to 300 students in the school auditorium or cafeteria
Length of program: 30 minutes, with about 30 minutes for set up and 15 for take-down
